Saturday 15 August 2009, 12 – 3pm
The Limoncello Summer Fête will be a day of different activities organised by an ad hoc committee of volunteers from various organisations and Universities. Attractions will include ‘splat the rat’, a tombola, home-made produce, ‘sponge the gallerist’, a fortune-teller, live music, treaties and crafts. Entertainment will include a fashion show, jelly eating competitions and ‘pin-the-tail on the Wallinger’. Stall-holders include Charlotte Turner, Sanders-Jones, JoJo Tyhurst, and Peter Georgallou.
Entry is free and fancy dress is not mandatory but encouraged.

Limoncello’s punctuation programme is a series of lectures, performances and events held between gallery exhibitions. The programme offers the gallery artists and the people around them a site to try out ideas. If as JG Ballard has claimed, short stories are the loose change of the literary world, then the punctuation programme events are 'looking after the pennies', although in a non-fiscal way because they are non-commercially viable work within a commercial context.
