Like many, I am still reeling from the shock that Woolworths has gone into "administration" and will no longer be on our high streets come the new year. Throughout my years at comprehensive school Woolworths was an excellent provider of chocolate (5 for 99p), pick n mix (before going to the cinema across the road), ladybird kids clothes to squeeze myself into, photoshop booth photos and last minute christmas presents for friends and parents. Although never quite keeping up to trend it tried its best and it's red and white happy logo will be missed.Woolworths was 99 years old.
