This adaptation of Noel Coward's play features Jessica Biel as the American female racing driver star who has fallen in love with Ben Barnes, your typically charming English man. Half speaking and breaking into song, I initially thought Easy Virtue was going to be an Easy film to watch. As Biel is thrown into her new husbands English life and forced to interact with his disfunctional family (featuring a brilliantly Colin Firth) the plot lines become tiresome and the film drags.
Having seen Scott Thomas last in the fantastic "I've loved you so long" this film couldn't have been more different. Beautiful costumes, perfect settings, but lacking in substance (much like the Duchess).

Concluding this is a connection to their Israeli Army mission in the Lebanon War Ari is suprised that he can't remember anything about that time in his life. He then sets out to find out more and meets and interviews old friends and ex-army comrades around the world. As he starts to learn more about what happened, more questions and riddles come about.
The animation style is similar to A Scanner Darkly, it intersperses stylized graphic art with real images and mixes them together. It is really powerful stuff and has an ending that will stay with you for weeks...
