Here are some drawings I did whilst in Russia this summer. The top two are from the Hermitage in St Petersburg we went the day we arrived as it was the day it was free. Cue hour long queues and hundreds of people (it is so huge, if you have seen
Martin Creed's piece in the Tate at the moment - that is a bit how we felt in the gargantuan space). If you spent 1 minute looking at every single exhibit it would take you over 5 years.
The bottom is from a tour we took courtesy of the best
Moscow Guide book you will ever find. The length of time we had drawing depended on how many sights we had seen, for example, the statues in Alexander Gardens were the 6th on the list - so we took 6 minutes over them.
